Marina — Creative Direction

While many candle brands utilize recyclable vessels, only 8% of candles are actually recycled, resulting in over 35 million candle containers ending up in landfills each year. We can and must do better. We found a way to make our own biodegradable candles that are the first and only of their kind— compostable and zero waste from the vessel to the wax. This means that when discarded, all materials will decompose naturally, enriching the Earth and benefiting the environment. While I was the co-founder of this business, I was also the creative mind behind every piece of it: how the candles look, the photography direction, packaging design, website, and all social media content.
